Kenya Prayer Update #14

Hello all. Wanted to send out a quick update today and I'll try and send out another one this weekend with more information.
Firstly, I'm off the antibiotics and am all fine regarding bacteria, so praise God; and I was still energetic and not sick to continue work... which leads me on to the awesome fact that we have finished pouring the foundation of the new church building! Some 3200 bags of cement and a couple very long days later, God has brought that phase of the project to completion. It's very exciting and we've begun setting up the forms for all of the pillars. Lord willing, we'll begin pouring the pillars next week. The Pastor's Conference was a blessed time last week, and it was very encouraging to see all of the Kenyan and Ugandan Calvary Chapel Pastors together. God's Word certainly went forth, and I know the pastors left encouraged and bolstered to continue to preach the Word of God.
One imminent prayer request -- I meant to write sooner but I kept thinking in my head that I already had -- Pastor Josh and his family are in Nairobi greeting a family that is coming out to visit Eldoret this week, so prayer for their safety and time away, and also for me as tonight I was asked to teach our midweek Bible Study. Pray that God would pour out His Spirit on me as I teach and upon the congregation to receive His Word. That's all for right now, but I'll have more coming soon! Thank you so much for praying, I can truly see God at work in this church and my life.
God bless y'all,
Zion
